Titilayo Oke is a Vice President & Senior Counsel at the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC). She has over 15 years’ experience in the legal profession and in the financial services sector having previously worked as a tax, legal and corporate governance consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and currently as a development and project finance lawyer at the AFC. She is actively involved in the structuring and negotiations for the development and financing of infrastructure projects – including investments relating to oil and gas assets, power plants, and transports and logistics projects across Africa.  

Titilayo has an abiding passion for efficient business laws and regulations and their impact on economic growth. In 2010, she was a part of the World Bank team in Washington DC that collected and analysed data for 183 economies for the Paying Taxes Indicator of the Doing Business 2011 report. She holds a postgraduate degree in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation from the University of Warwick and she is currently pursuing an Executive MBA degree at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.”
